- In her latest Instagram video, Dr. Pimple Popper has to pop a lipoma out of her patient.
- A lipoma is a collection of overgrown fat cells that have created a bump beneath the skin.
- According to commenters, this lipoma looks like ‘cooked shrimp.’
Dr. Pimple Popper is back at it again on Instagram, and as usual there’s an apt food comparison for her latest pop. The dermatologist and TLC host, whose real name is Dr. Sandra Lee, is tasked with taking out a lipoma from her patient. According to her fans on Instagram, this growth looks like ‘cooked shrimp.’
The video begins with Dr. Lee having already created an incision over the top of her patient’s growth. Her assistant has to continually dab this cut, though, to keep the blood at bay as the dermatologist begins to squeeze. Steadily, the squishy lipoma begins to protrude from the incision.
With a little elbow grease, this lipoma pops right out, and more than one Instagram user commented that it looks just like a “cooked shrimp.” But that wasn’t the only food comparison. Other users compared the popped growth to a bit of Baby Bel cheese.
Once Dr. Lee is able to snip free the lipoma, she goes back in for what she calls a “little twin” that’s left behind, pulling it free with a pair of tweezers. Once, it’s removed, this patient’s lipoma needs have been met.
